Problem: In total, more than 60 vessels such as feed gas separators, reflux drums, liquid sulfur traps and various other  process vessels, required internal linings to protect from erosion and corrosion. Belzona products were specified in this project. Each type of vessels has specific operating conditions, temperatures from -17.5℃ to 175℃; and majority contain aggressive acidic media.

Application Situation
Largest new-built Natural Gas project in China. It includes one plant with 12 million cubic metres capacity per day and another plant with 18 million cubic metres capacity per day.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.
Belzona Facts
The Belzona internal linings have been a cost effective solution, protecting the vessels from aggressive erosion and corrosion, while ensuring the plant operated safely. The application team was well trained by Belzona and strictly implemented the Belzona global application standard which enabled the application to be delivered to a high standard.   After immersed in aggressive media such as acid solvent, sour gas and sediment for 1 year, when the vessels were inspected on-site, the internal lining showed no signs of deterioration.
