Problem: Bad injectors had caused Sulfuric acid not to mix well with paper stock and pump was badly eroded. Cut-water on discharge was eroded away and bowl was severely pitted. Holes through pump bowl. After inspection, injectors were moved downstream.

Application Situation
Customer was looking for alternative to replacement of stock pump. The pump was suffering from chemical attack and had been in service for only four years.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-1, CEP-3 and CEP-5.
Belzona Facts
The customer saved around $300,000.00 (US) with Belzona solution. After inspection 1 1/2 years later rebuild is still in good condition with no worn areas.
