Problem: During summer maintenance of this facilities boiler plant, the condensate return tank was found to be severely corroded and leaking, with concern for its ability to make it through another heating season.

Application Situation
Leaking condensate return tank
Application Method
Application was carried out using a modified Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-1. The tank was lifted for access and mechanically prepared with the MBX Bristle Blaster. A heavy gauge steel plate was fabricated and bonded into place with Belzona® 4181. Belzona® 1311 was then used to reinforce the tank ends.
