Problem: The basalt tile lining suffered severe abrasion during pulp separation and as a result a lot of broken edges and cracked tiles were present.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-7. Belzona® 1811 was applied to restore surface profile and to produce as smooth as possible surface.
Belzona Facts
Replacing the broken and cracked tiles was not an option due to cost and time constraints. Belzona was choosen for its fast and in-expensive application. whole repair was done within 48-hour period thus restoring an even surface profile with similar abrasion resistance compared to basalt.
