Problem: New office facilities on riverside had outbuildings for the emergency generator and its oil supply. In order to comply with DEFRA regulations, every effort had to be made to prevent contamination of the nearby river in the event of leaks.

Riverside Bunds for Generators and Oil Storage
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-15. Covings and fillets were formed with Belzona® 4131 and Belzona® 4141 prior to sealing area with Belzona® 5811.
Belzona Facts
The client has used Belzona repeatedly to offer premium protection in areas where failure would be unacceptable. The contractor completed the work to the complete satisfaction of the client and commented on how user friendly the materials were. Both the oil storage room, and the emergency generator room, totaling approximately 60m2 have now been protected to accommodate even the most catastrophic failure of the equipment.
