Application Situation
Sediment removal equipment for Condenser water feed
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-11a. Belzona® 1291 was used to stem the live leak. Once no leaking was ensured, Belzona® 1161 plus Belzona® 9341 (Reinforcement Tape) was immediately used to overcoat the area to create a permanent repair.
Belzona Facts
Belzona repaired the corroded pipe without disruption to services. This provided the customer with a cost effective solution. Surface tolerance of Belzona® 1161 enables such repairs to be carried out without draining down the equipment.
