Belzona® Bridges A Slippery Problem

Footbridge clad in exotic wood (similar to decking)

 
 

Problem:

During winter when wet and icy conditions occured, slipping and falls resulted to pedestrians using the bridge.

Application Method:

The application was carried out using a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The bridge links the famous Louvre and Orsay Museums and has regular traffic. A test was carried out in 2000 and following its success, the full bridge was treated in 2003 with a  total of 19661m of grip system. Its performance can easily be viewed and assessed by all.
