Problem: Loose particles of soil and small pieces of rock, released during the processing of the sugar beet causes abrasion on the shaft.

Application Situation
Mixing shaft with 46 half shells on which agitating arms were located
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets GSS-9 and SHM-14. Belzona® 1121 was used to create irregular shims under the half shells to ensure perfect fit onto the shaft. The exposed areas of shaft were protected with Belzona® 1811 against future abrasion damage.
