Rotary pump lobes damaged by entrained solids.

Belzona® 4411 (Granogrip)

Belzona® 9411 (Release agent)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflet PDP-9.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Replacement cost is $1,000-$1,300 per lobe. Cost of fabricating lobes with Belzona's techniques is approximately $600 per lobe, saving the customer in excess of $600 per lobe.

 
 

Photographs Description

  1. Damaged lobes from pump.  
  2. A perfect mold is made from new lobe using Belzona technique.  
  3. New lobe casted with Belzona® 2131.  
  4. Inspection six months after installation shows no wear. One year after installation the lobes are operating perfectly.
