Belzona® Protects Weld Seams In Recycling Drum

Application Situation:

Recycling drum used to process waste paper for use in newspaper.

 
 

Problem:

The debris settles in the 90 degree angles of the weld seams. The 60°C (140°F) environment with a pH 10 leads to galvanic and crevice corrosion of the weld seams.

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The Belzona repair was inspected in April 2000 and there were no signs of wear, breakdown or further corrosion.
