Belzona Facts
If abrasive wear had continued, it would have ultimately caused the structural failure of the scroll shaft. By protecting the scroll shaft with a Belzona® abrasion resistant material during the annual outage, only minor sacrifical wear of the product occurred, thereby leaving the substrate undamaged. Unlike an "imitator's" system, the Belzona protection was found upon inspection at the next outage to be unaffected.
