Problem: The steps had worn badly over the last few hundred years. The main contractor had to find a product that they could apply in the evening shift so the staircases could be re-opened ready for the busy work force in the morning to carry on with the rest of the project. The contractor only had six weeks to complete the total College refurbishment.

Application Situation
The College was undergoing a complete refurbishment of the student accomodation area. Part of the work was to rebuild the two staircases at both ends of the building.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1.
Belzona Facts
The contractor chose Belzona as he had previous experience with the products and knew he could have the stairs repaired and back in service in the short time available. The excellent wear characteristics will also ensure steps do not require repair in the forseable future.
