Belzona® Proves To Be The Material For Chemical Containment Areas

Application Situation:

Chemical containment area.

 
 

Problem:

Repetitive exposure to concentrated hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids, which eroded the concrete substrate.

Belzona® 4131 (Magma Screed)

Belzona® 4311 (Magma CR-1)

Belzona® 4911 (TX Conditioner)

 

Substrate:

Concrete

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-9, TCC-15.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

At least five imitation products had failed to protect the containment area prior to Belzona. Belzona® 4131 was used to rebuild the eroded areas, and Belzona® 4311 was used to coat the entire containment area.
