Application Situation:

Worn flights on a Humboldt Dewatering Centrifuge.



Sludge constantly got behind wear tiles which caused corrosion as well as erosion of the flights. The unit became unbalanced and tiles frequently delaminated, requiring constant maintenance consisting of welding and retiling.

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-7.


Belzona Facts:

This application took place at the largest wastewater facility in the coun-try. By using Belzona, it protected the flights and extended the time between routine servicing and maintenance.
