Application Situation:

Loading bay for 98% Sulphuric acid.

 
 

Problem:

Previously used coatings had failed allowing the acid to attack the underlying concrete.

 
 

Products:

Belzona® 4311 (Magma CR1)

 

Substrate:

Concrete

 
 

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-15. Old coating was removed and damaged concrete  rebuilt with new concrete. After drying  out for 28 days 2 coat system of Belzona® 4311 was applied.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

After many years tring to solve the problem with different coatings, none of which worked, Belzona® 4311 has provided a lining that has resisted the acid spills without need for continuous repair.
