Application Situation
Spalled concrete at railings along a platform perimeter above an aeration tank.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-10.
Belzona Facts
Patching the concrete did not work, since the old and new concrete did not bond well. This allows water to migrate through the repair, causing the same deterioration of the concrete as before. Replacing the slab would cost thousands of dollars as well as the interruption of the aeration tank process.
