Application Situation:

Deteriorated pump base or plinth.

 
 

Problem:

A pump carrying 98% sulfuric acid was leaking, causing severe deterioration of the concrete base, pump stand and the surrounding containment area.

Belzona® 4131 (Magma Screed)

Belzona® 4311 (Magma CR1)

Concrete and steel

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-9.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Other coatings were tried previously and failed. The entire containment area was later done due to the performance of the pump base.
