Application Situation:

Damaged porcelain insulator shed situated at a Substation.

 
 

Problem:

A brand new porcelain shed had been damaged whilst in transit to the Substation which required an immediate in-situ repair.

Belzona® 1221 (Super E-Metal)

Belzona® 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer)

Belzona® 8112

Application Method:

The porcelain insulator rebuild repair was completed in accordance with the Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF16.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

This in-situ repair was deemed the most cost effective in comparison to the cost of dismantling the insulator stack and replacing the damaged shed.
