Application Situation:

Bridge spanning the Intracoastal Waterway - Broward County, Florida



Inferior products together with heavy traffic caused expansion joints to fail. This allowed salts from the atmosphere and water to ingress to steel areas underneath the roadway which began to suffer from corrosion.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-5 and FPA-6.


Belzona Facts:

Belzona® 4521 shares the same chemical properties as other Belzona® 4000 Series Magma Products. This means that no additional conditioners or interim preparation steps are required. This "wet to wet" application forges an intimate, durable bond, and saves significant application time.
