Problem: Routine refurbishment of the workshops was being undertaken with particular emphasis on improving safety in and around the inspection pits.

Application Method
After scabbling the concrete and planing rough areas a two-coat system of Belzona® 5231 was applied to the workshop floor and inspection pit. An additional strip of Belzona® 4411 grip system was applied to step nosings to provide additional grip and safety.
Belzona Facts
A total of seven workshops have now been refurbished. The applications only took place after testing of the system to ensure it was capable of performing well in the arduous workshop conditions where a variety of military vehicles up to four ton trucks are serviced.
