Problem: Although wrapped with tyres on chains to help protection, the fenders were in need of a full service or replacement. Punctures had deflated the fenders rendering them useless.

Application Situation
The national dredging company had a number of fenders which became worn and punctured over time. 
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SOS-12. Surfaces were prepared using a power wire brush. Punctures were stitched together using Nylon thread. After Conditioning the areas were rebuilt with Belzona 2111 incorporating Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape).

Due to the time and cost implications of replacing the fenders, Belzona provided a solution, reducing downtime and significantly reducing overall costs to the customer.
