Application Situation:

Steel panels on the air handing unit deck



The joints between the panels on the air handling unit deck were not properly sealed. The deck is open to atmosphere and tends to accumulate water causing water to penetrate the building and damage interior walls.

Belzona 9311 (Reinforcing sheet)





Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-6. The surface was prepared by removing all the debris, dirt and stagnant water and abrading the surface to remove rust and create an anchoring profile. Belzona 3921 was applied as a first layer. Belzona 3111 was applied as a two coat system incorporating Belzona 9311 in accordance with Belzona Instructions For Use.
