Application Situation:

Expansion joint leaked water onto arriving passengers on floor below.



Previous repairs included steel covers over the joint. Then non-skid tape was added. Plates vibrated loose and along with the tape became trip hazard.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona system leaflet FPA-6 & FPA-8. Joint sealed with Belzona® 2221 system and Belzona® 4411 applied on both sides to provide neat, safe surface.


Belzona Facts:

Client needed a durable, watertight, non-slip solution to this nagging problem. After three years of service, joints holding up well.
