Expansion Joints Repaired With Belzona

Application Situation:

Expansion joints at a warehouse.

 
 

Problem:

The previous joint had failed, and the area of the floor was closed off to fork lifts and handling equipment.

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accorance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-6 for replacing expansion joint sealants. The concrete was prepared by removing the existing expansion joint by hand and with a hand grinder, together with a vacuum to drastically reduce the dust to clean the concrete. The application area was taped and Belzona 2911 was applied over the entire joint area. Then Belzona 2131 was poured into the joint. The tape was removed after application.
