Problem: During the overhaul of this plant’s Nash Vacuum Pump it was determined that the components were showing extreme signs of erosion and corrosion and could benefit from a Belzona renovation.

Application Situation
Vacuum pump rotor.
Application Method
The contracted machine shop called us as the pump customer requested Belzona. The maintenance crew were trained, assisted and shown how to complete the repair to our rigid standards. The components were rebuilt with Belzona 1311 and protected with two coats of Belzona 1341; adhering to the custom engineering guidelines published in Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FBC-2 & FBC-15.
Belzona Facts
This maintenance procedure was easily accomplished by Evolution Machine & Design under the supervision of the local Technical Consultant. Without Belzona, this pump rotor would have had to be replaced!
