Problem: The suspected damaged pump was removed, disassembled and blasted to show the extent of erosion and cavitation.

Application Situation
The customer was experiencing noticeable vibration coupled with reduced pumping capacity.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-3 and CEP-5. Eroded areas were rebuilt with Belzona 1111 and then coated with Belzona 1321. Both materials were applied by hand with the supplied applicators.
Belzona Facts
The pump has gone back into service without vibration problems and the pumping efficiency has been restored.
