Spalled Steps No Longer A Safety Hazard With Belzona® Repair

Application Situation:

Stairs to a memorial recreation center.

 
 

Problem:

The stairs had spalled due to environmental freeze and thaw effect.

Belzona 4131 (Magma-Screed)

Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-10 for fixing or securing anchor bolts or hand rails. The surface was prepared using a grinder and the surface was brushed to remove any loose concrete. Belzona 4911 was applied to the area using a stiff bristle brush. Belzona 4131 was applied directly onto the conditioned surface in accordance with Belzona Instructions For Use.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Belzona 4131 has outstanding environmental protection, is impermeable to water and provides long term protection. Belzona 4131 is easily applied using a trowel, thus, no specialist tools are required.
