Application Situation
A Hellan fluid strainer at a Water Pollution Control Plant.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-5 for the repair of general erosion damage. The surface was blasted to prepare the area. Belzona 1212 was applied to build up any areas that were pitting. As a two coat system, Belzona 1331 was brush applied to the surface in accordance with Belzona Instructions For Use.

Belzona 1212 has built-in surface tolerant technology to achieve rapid cure and excellent adhesion. When fully cured, this two-part system exhibits outstanding mechanical strength. Belzona 1331 is designed to operate under continuous immersion at temperatures up to 50°C (122°F) and has outstanding resistance against erosion and abrasion.
