Problem: Corrosion around the flanges and bolts resulted in serious damage. The customer was looking for a practical and efficient solution to this problem. Several manufacturers were considered for the task including Belzona. Application was to be completed in situ and inspected after 6 months.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-11.
Belzona Facts
The customer chose Belzona since a competitor's solution 'oozed' out some sort of embedded corrosion inhibitor that looked like leaking oil. After a 6 month trial inspection, the Belzona coating was removed and the underlying flange was visually evaluated. The Customer was pleased with the results and decided to install the Belzona 3411 system on other facilities.
