Application Situation
Plastic irrigation hose uncoiled from its reel in the field.
Application Method
The pipe was lifted to working height for preparation and application. Then, the pipe was scuffed with a roughing brush for 2 inches on both sides of the crack. The pipe was conditioned before applying a layer of gelled Belzona 2111, followed by Belzona 9341 and an overcoat of Belzona 2111.
Belzona Facts
Both mechanical couplings and high temperature fusings have been tried and failed. The customer has had other successful repairs for conveyor belts with Belzona and selected another Belzona solution.
