Belzona Facts
Belzona was chosen to repair the shaft in-situ as being over 40ft long its removal would have required the dismantling of the building and several items of plant it ran through. With Belzona the shaft was repaired in less than 4 hours and left to cure overnight to reveal a perfectly reformed area that was able to recieve the stuffing box and get production started on schedule saving a massive amount of downtime. They have since gone on to complete several other smaller scale shaft repairs the same way.
