Problem: Unprotected steel was exposed to moisture repeatedly at this transition piece of duct work. The moisture enabled corrosion that began destroying this section of duct work. Undetermined repair or replacement times were not a good option for this particle board manufacturer. Due to the critical production need of this equipment and to the elevated location of the transition piece it was important to preserve it from failing.

Application Situation
Square to round transition on a dust collection bag house at a particle board manufacturing plant.   
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5 and Belzona Instructions For Use.

The preservation of this duct work saved this company the expense of a crane to replace it as well as extended downtime when it failed.
