Problem: Wood particles being mixed with resins in this blender caused a very abrasive condition. Even though the liner to this equipment was designed to withstand abrasion it still suffered the effects. Particle board manufacturer was in the habit of welding new liners into this equipment when they wore out. The liner replacements were expensive and time consuming having to remove the worn liner and weld in the new one. This required extensive hot work in a wood laden environment and would typically warp the equipment causing misalignment of the lid.

Belzona Facts
This repair is much less expensive to perform than component replacement, and does not require as extensive hot work. The Belzona solution is a cold process and does not risk warping of the original equipment. The finish of Belzona 1321 provided a smooth surface preventing the adhesion of wood/resin mixture and still provided abrasion resistance.
