Application Situation:

Cement upon cure had shrunk after being poured on this pan deck inside of a University Building.

 
 

Problem:

Gap in the expansion joint allowed room pressure to escape room below into this area, causing Air Handler performance to be inefficient. The gap was so large that wheels from equipment carts would get stuck in the crack, becoming a safety concern.

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-6 and Belzona product Instructions For Use.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

This application allowed the air handling systems to operate correctly for both adjacent spaces. The customer was able to utilize this space more effectively as intended. The floor was made safer, which prevented any injury or loss time incidents.
