Belzona® Provides Long-Term Solution For Spalled Concrete

Local Authorities & Municipalities (LOMU)

Wall Problem Areas (WPA)

Customer Location:

School, Essex, UK

Application Date:

March 2016

Application Situation:

The school was built in the 1960s and had recently undergone major refurbishment in various areas.

When the windows were replaced it became apparent that there were major issues with spalled concrete on many of the window sills and lintels. Large chunks of concrete were breaking away and causing a hazard for staff and pupils. The repairs had to be able to be carried out with minimum disruption to the school's usual activities.
