Problem: When the windows were replaced it became apparent that there were major issues with spalled concrete on many of the window sills and lintels. Large chunks of concrete were breaking away and causing a hazard for staff and pupils. The repairs had to be able to be carried out with minimum disruption to the school's usual activities.

Application Situation
The school was built in the 1960s and had recently undergone major refurbishment in various areas.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet WPA-4. All loose debris was removed and the area cleaned before applying Belzona 4911 followed by Belzona 4141 to restore the original profiles. No special shuttering was required and the repairs were carried out easily with trowels.
Belzona Facts
The school required a repair that would be aesthetically pleasing, easy to carry out during the normal school hours and long lasting. They are incredibly pleased with the results and are planning more applications in other areas with Belzona products.
