Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane)

Problem: The client was about to take possession of a newly constructed office block. However, the gutters were leaking at multiple points around the building and so they were refusing to take ownership until the roof was watertight. It was thought that the joints and drain points were at fault. The main contractor had tried to seal these with a bituminous coating, which was ineffective and so needed to be removed. Belzona were approached for a liquid applied solution that could be backed by a warranty.

Belzona Facts
With so many people already working in the building, the water based Belzona 3111 system was ideal. A seamless flexible membrane was applied along the full length of all of the roof gutters and up the joints of the parapet wall with a total length over 320 metres. Once completed, the contractor issued a warranty so that the client finally had the confidence to take ownership of the building.
