Belzona® Repairs Car Park Floor

Application Situation:

Underground Car park at local Shopping Centre.



A poorly constructed concrete slab floor had been worn away exposing the reinforcement bars that were becoming a trip hazard



Belzona 4111 (Magma Quartz)





Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-1. The damaged concrete was removed and the re-bars prepared using wire brushing to remove corrosion from the surface. Once cleaned and vacuumed, the Belzona 4111 system was then applied to the damaged areas and feathered out to provide a smooth surface. Once an area had been completed and cured sufficiently, it was was opened up to the public and the process repeated at the next location.


Belzona Facts:

Belzona 4111 was selected for its high strength, fast application and ability to be applied without the need for extensive surface preparation that kept disruption to the car park to a minimum.
