Photograph Descriptions

1. Steps prepared for application 2. Application of Belzona 5811 in progress 3. Application of Belzona 5811 and 9211 completed 4. Application revisited two months later, already outperforming the non-slip tape

Application Situation
A manufacturer's movable step ladders needed a permanent non-slip added to keep workers safe.
Application Method
Application was carried out using Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8. Steps were cleaned and roughened with an angle grinder. Edges were taped off to create clean lines.  First, Belzona 5811 was applied at 20 mils thickness, then Belzona 9211 was added to the point of rejection.
Belzona Facts
One of the alternative solutions was to use a non-slip tape which had already been proven to be ineffective. When the application is completed on remaining steps the cost of the Belzona application will be approximately double per square foot but will last approximately forty times longer, paying for itself in the first two years and saving the customer far more over time.
