Application Situation
Copper gutters of historic site. Gutter system is part of the original structure and it is not permitted by the Federal Government to change materials.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System RPA-6. Power wire brushing and degreasing was carried out prior to application.
Belzona Facts
There was no way to replace the copper gutter system as dictated by the Federal Government. Alternatives such as silicone sealants would not provide required longevity. Belzona® 3111 was chosen due to the ability to coat the copper gutter system and maintain its functionality without removal. It maintained appearance to the satisfaction of the engineers.
