Problem: Large oil sump for the shaft bearing at the top of the pump was experiencing cracking from harmonic vibration. As the company that produced the pump was no longer in business and available parts are difficult to find and very expensive, $1000 of Belzona saved them over $60,000 worth of replacement parts, labor and downtime. In addition the Belzona solution eliminated the problem from occurring again.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of the Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-3.
Belzona Facts
Welding would have stressed the steel causing more cracks to appear. The only way to resist vibration and contain the oil was a flexible surface.
