Problem: The balcony edges were spalling and the balcony rail supports were eroded-corroded.

Application Situation
College building balcony edges and rail supports.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-2. Corroded tubular rail supports were cut away and steel bars glued into remaining tubular supports with Belzona® 1111. Spalled concrete then rebuit encapsulating the new steel supports.

As shown in the photographs, the Belzona repair is still in perfect condition in 2016, over 35 years after the original application.
