Application Situation:

Dairy floor subject to regular cleaning and sterilization. area contains dip tanks containing hot cleaning CIP (Cleaning In Place) chemicals.



Existing floor covering badly deteriorated due to regular spills of hot CIP solutions. The dairy is only down from production on Saturday/Sunday.

Belzona® 5891 (HT Immersion Grade)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-1 & -8. The existing coating was removed with diamond grinders and dust collectors. The floor was repaired with Belzona® 4181, then Belzona® 5891 was applied over the top with a non-slip aggregate on the surface.


Belzona Facts:

The plant chose Belzona because of its previous successes and the ability to complete within the short break in production.
