Problem: This is a very corrosive environment due to the nature of the raw material and the high temperatures used in the process led to serious corrosion on the plant. A serious fire, However, accelerated the situation and the bauxite bin could not be used anymore, forcing a shutdown at the plant.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflets TCC-1 and TCC-5.
Belzona Facts
Belzona products have proven to be a success in the plant to prevent bridging and provide protection against the environment. Also, the quickness on the response ended saving the cement plant close to $250,000 in operation costs. Belzona solution allowed for the rebuilding of the seriously damaged areas with Belzona® 1121, then Belzona® 3921 and Belzona® 5111 system as the final coating providing corrosion and abrasion resistance in the hot environment.
