Belzona® Seals Chemical Bunkers From The Environment

Problem:

Water was penetrating into the expansion joints and cracks, reacting with old fertilizer which could cause further concrete failure and chemical release into the environment.

Belzona® 3111 (Flexible Membrane)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with a modified Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-1. Surface prepared by pressure washing then all cracks and joints sealed with Belzona® 3111 system. A coat of clear cladding was applied over the entire concrete storage area.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Caulks and RTV had failed over the years due to UV degradation. Belzona® 3111 has lasted 10 years with minor repairs due to structural movement.
