Application Situation
Concrete Basins in cooling tower were leaking shortly after the start up of a new unit.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets HEX-6 and -7. After grit blasting the concrete, cracks were sealed with Belzona® 4111 then coated with a reinforced Belzona® 5811 system. The entire basin was then coated with Belzona® 5811.
Belzona Facts
Previous success with Belzona at the plant allowed us to be chosen for this project. The system used has excellent resistance to continuous immersion ensuring long term leak free service.
