Application Situation:

Conventional rubber lagged head pulley.



Pieces of rubber lagging were frequently torn loose due to build up. Excessive wear from moisture, chemical attack and abrasive media was causing belt to slip. Belt would often not track properly due to uneven lagging pads.

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-12. Belzona® 1321 was blinded to rejection with non-slip aggregate.


Belzona Facts:

The application was completed in one day for less than half the cost of conventional lagging, which was lasting less than one year! The durable Ceramic S-Metal grip system eliminated belt slippage and protected the pulley from both abrasive and chemical attack. Original rubber lagging system was lasting less than a year.
