Application Situation
A paper mill recycling drum (30 long and 10 diameter) used to recycle newsprint. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 120°F and pH 10-11.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.

The application literally saved millions of dollars in replacement costs and downtime. The pictures show how much Belzona Ceramic R-Metal is left protecting the incompatible welds and Ceramic S-metal is left protecting the surface of the steel. Inspection of the application after 12 years of continuous service and sandblasting with coal slag proves that Belzona provided the right solution for the problem.
