Copper baffle plates in submarine waste-water treatment system



The baffles are subject to erosion and corrosive attack. The customer required a material that could be cast and would be resistant to erosion and corrosion.

Belzona® 1341(Supermetalglide)

Belzona® 2221 (MP Fluid Elastomer)





Application Method:

In accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflets MPT-10 and RPA-9.


Belzona Facts:

This application removes the necessity for replacing the baffles on a regular basis. The savings for the submarine operator could be substantial.
