Fecha de aplicacion: The expansion joint had failed and was causing a trip hazard, as well as making hospital guests uncomfortable when rolled in their beds or wheelchairs across the failed joint. Metal plate put over top was a trip and bump hazard.

Método de aplicación

The Belzona application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-5 & -6. The old metal joint was torn out and replaced with Belzona® 4111. A jig was used to provide the repair with the same height as the tile floor. After removing the joint former, Belzona® 2211 was used to seal the joint. Belzona® 4411 applied for aesthetics.

Belzona provided a quick, cost effective solution for the failed joint. This is one of several joints done at this facility where the longevity of the Belzona applications is appreciated.
