Application Situation

Pipework on oil filled transformer.

Application Method

Application was carried in accordance with Belzona Know-How System leaflet VPF-11a. Belzona® 1291 used to firstly seal the live leak. The pipework was then encapsulated to prevent further leakage.

The costly need to drain down the oil to effect a repair (£8,000) was eradicated, the Belzona repair was carried out in less than 2 hours.
